USA - Big loss for National Beef Packers

The beef processing plant is expecting business as usual as it adjusts to the loss of its contract with the largest retailer in the country.
The Moultrie Observer reports National Beef Packing Co. was expecting a change in its relationship with Walmart and is seeking new relationships to fill the void of the lost contract.
Darrell Moore, president of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Development Authority, told the Moultrie Observer National Beef has been working for several years to diversify its customer base, speaking with different grocers.
National Beef formerly produced case-ready beef, hamburger and pork for Walmart.
The company is not expecting any cutbacks or slowdowns due to the lost contract.
