The Rosselkhoznadzor detected unsafe consignments of imported food products
Mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms were repeatedly detected in a consignment of Australian boneless beef produced by the establishment 384 from after early June of the current year, Listeria were repeatedly detected in a consignment of Spanish pork produced by the establishment 10.05213/GE from after June of the current year, coliforms were repeatedly detected in a consignment of mussels shipped by the Chinese establishment 3700/02A75 during the current month.
The Rosselkhoznadzor considers it necessary to impose temporary restrictions on import of products from said establishments due to the repetitive nature of violations and to notify National Veterinary Services of importing countries on said restrictions.
Moreover, Listeria were detected in a consignment of bovine offal produced by the Argentinean establishment 1989 and in a consignment of pork shipped by the Spanish establishment ES-E-22-12-00164, coliforms were detected in fish preparations produced by the Indian establishment 1142 and in Uruguayan beef produced by the establishment 52; mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms were detected in grapevine snail meat produced by the French establishment FR 01.320.001 CE4 and in Moldavian beef produced by the establishment AO ”IDT din Bardar”, staphylococci were detected in cheese produced by the Kazakhstan establishment KZ T.10/G4-0281/E.
The Rosselkhoznadzor has ordered its Territorial Administrations to enhance laboratory control of products coming from said establishments and notified Veterinary Services of importing countries that it is necessary to enhance control of establishments violating Russian and Customs Union legislations.
