Iverk Show has been postponed from its original date of Saturday, August 25 to Saturday, September 15.
The southeast show has become the latest in a long line of shows to suffer from the atrocious weather of this summer.
Show president Joe Malone said that while the showground itself would have held up to host competitors and spectators, the parking areas would not have been trafficable due to heavy rain in the past week.
Several changes will be made to the entry conditions of dairy and beef classes on the new September date.
Class 9, the Maid of Glanbia dairy class, will now be open to animals with two teeth, while the weight limit on Classes 42 and 43, the Dawn Meats and ABP beef classes will be adjusted upwards by 30kg.
