The Belted Galloway is a new breed that will be on show in the cattle section of the Tullamore Show & AIB National Livestock Show on Aug 12. 
 
 
 

There will also be new dairy classes, the new All-Ireland youth competition in the cookery section, and the Meat Village continues after its successful inauguration last year. 

At the recent schedule of classes launch, organisers predicted the number of exhibition stands will greatly increase from last year’s exciting competitions have been added to this year’s event, which will include the following: dairy cattle, pedigree cattle, commercial cattle, sheep, horse showing, including miniatures, clydesdale horses and carriage driving, showjumping, alpacas, dogs, poultry, arena sheep dog trials, national inventions, and hand shearing sheep.
 
The home industry competitions relate to horticulture and farm produce, cookery, crafts and needlework, art and photography and much more.
