NSW Farmers has appointed board member David Clarke of Rylstone as acting Treasurer and Peter Wilson of Trangie as a new board member.
Mr Clarke was appointed by the board while Mr Wilson’s appointment follows a nomination and election process through the association’s executive council.
Mr Clarke is a beef producer and has been a member of the association's finance and audit committee for the past 16 months, is the current chairman of Rylstone branch and is the association's representative on the pastoral and agricultural crime working group.
Mr Wilson is a wheat, wool and lamb producer and is the association’s region three chairman. He has been a member of the business, economics and trade committee since 2010, is a graduate of Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School, holds degrees in economics and law from the Australian National University and has a diploma in financial management from the University of New England. Mr Wilson is also an admitted solicitor and a registered tax agent.
