MAFEX - Maghreb Food Exhibition will take place for the first time from October 31 till November 02, 2012 at the venue O.F.E.C Casablanca in Morocco. Exhibitors from over 19 countries and two national pavilions of Germany and China will offer their innovative products and technologies of the food industry sector.
Morocco aims to develop the local food industry in order to ensure the food supply of the country according to European quality and hygiene standards. Therefore factories, machinery and technologies must be modernized. The exhibition MAFEX will give Morocco new impetus and inform Moroccan companies about state-of-the-art technologies of the food sector.
At MAFEX the German Agricultural Society - DLG will be holding an international conference program about current topics of the food industry in Morocco. The key note speakers are representatives of the food industry, organizations as well as research institutes of six different countries and will be informing about food safety regulations, the Moroccan food market, marketing, legal requirements and standards as well as advanced food technologies.
The organizers IFWexpo Heidelberg GmbH and IEC Maroc expect over 3,000 business professionals, especially from the North and West African states. “Morocco is a market offering a high potential for development.
