Red Tractor exclude’s Muslim, Jews and the Sikh’s

With the Launching of the Red Tractor due to start on 24 September, Muslims in the UK are disappointed and very angry that most of the Muslim butchers in the UK cannot participate, with over 5000 Muslim butchers shop across the country and the largest independent section are been excluded because of their religious beliefs.

Richard Cattell said: “Red Tractor Week will celebrate 12 years of great farming and great food under the logo. This year, Red Tractor has been an integral part of the Olympics, delivering quality British food in the biggest sporting event and the biggest peace-time catering operation in the world, yes it might be true, But true method for halal meat and poultry was not allowed to be served to the Muslim Olympic Athletes, bearing in mind that for the first time every Saudi Arabia allowed female Athletics to take part in t in UK London Olympics Games.

The Muslim in the UK will also be celebrating 12 years of    being excluded by Red Tractor, it’s quite ironic that Red Tractor which is been backed by ex-Coronation Street and Bad Girls actress Debra Stephenson to promote the Red Tractor, who will show shoppers how broad and versatile the logo is through a variety of fun and engaging activities. She said: “Since I’ve become aware of the Red Tractor logo, it’s great to see the breadth of food and drink products that the logo covers. I’m safe in the knowledge that the food has been produced to good standards.”    She being chosen as a female to front this scheme, when the largest Muslim state chose and allowed women equal rights to participate in the London Olympics, whereas the basic religious rights are being totally ignored by first EBLEX who fund this scheme and secondly by Red Tractor them self.

It is claimed that Currently there are more than 78,000 farmers involved in the Red Tractor Assurance scheme, providing £12bn worth of food each year, which is available in supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, schools, hospitals and even defence sites across the UK, Yet it excludes over 5000 Muslim independent butchers shops here in the UK, Mosques, Muslim Schools meals, Halal meals into NHS, Halal meat in to HMPS and so on.

The    Red Tractor has not just ignored the Muslim Community they have also ignored the Jewish community by banning kosher to be Red Tractor approved and not stopping there they have banned Jhatka    Meat which is for Sikh community are all excluded from their schemes , all these community are excluded from the Red Tractor Scheme for their true religious beliefs , this is Red Tractors view for a multi culture here in Briton.

According to Cattell, Red Tractor Week has received a lot of “whole-hearted” support from retailers and foodservice operators as well as the whole of the food supply chain. Cattell added: “There will be fun cook-along videos with Debra, an exclusive look ‘Behind the Logo’, a nationwide cookery competition and a regional schools initiative, which will help to educate future shoppers about where food comes from.” But if you are Muslim, Jews or Sikh don’t bother as Meat and poultry under the Red Tractor which is been served cannot cater for your Religious diet.
