NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Clarifications on media news report
São Paulo, September 21, 2012 – Marfrig Alimentos S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: MRFG3 and ADR (Level 1):
MRTTY – “Company”), in accordance with Article 157, Paragraph 4 of Federal Law 6.404/76 and Instruction
358 dated January 3, 2002 ("ICVM 358") issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil
(“CVM”), hereby clarifies that, with regard to the news reports published in the media concerning a public
share offering, the Corporation is not preparing any such offering.
The Corporation further clarifies that it will maintain the market informed of any events that could
materially influence the prices of the securities issued by the Corporation or the decision by investors to
buy, sell, hold or exercise any rights inherent to their ownership of the securities issued by the Corporation
or referenced thereto, in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of ICVM 358.
