Romania - Newcastle disease

The outbreak was reported by Dr Niculae Lazar, General Sanitary Veterinary Directorate, National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (NSVFSA) in Bucharest, Romania.
The outbreak occured in Zarnesti, Zarnesti, Tohanu Vechi, BRASOV.
In total, there were 216 cases, resulting in 212 deaths, with 533 birds susceptible.
105 birds were destroyed as a result.
