The group was formed in 1995 when it purchased Weddel Swift. The group has continued to grow and acquired H.M Bennet and Hamer International which together became Randall Parker Foods.

The group does not only have meat companies within its portfolio.

The luxurious  Blue Waters Hotel  in Antigua is a subsidiary of the group. This hotel has gently evolved from a 16-room guesthouse in the early 1960’s to a luxury resort that offers over 100 rooms and suites, there are secluded beach coves, freshwater pools and 17 acres of lush tropical gardens.

An essential addition to the Blue Waters Resort the spa offers a range of treatments including massage, body wraps, reflexology, facials and bridal packages.

Staff and Family

Blue Waters Beach Hotel, as it was originally known, is one of the longest established hotels in Antigua and first opened its doors for business in 1960 as a sixteen-bedroom hotel. At that time it was owned and operated by Mr Osmond Kelsick who had the distinction of being the only Antiguan Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force in World War II.

By 1984 Blue Waters had grown to 45 rooms, when it was sold to Mr. Ronald Randall, an entrepreneur from England who fell in love with the property having stayed there many times previously with his family.

The Randall Family

Ron Randall bought Blue Waters in 1984 and has always treated each guest as if they were a guest in his own home. Still to this day involved in every aspect of the property, he specifically takes great pride in personally being the architect behind the hotels gardens and landscaping.

Randall Family Continued

His son’s Tony and Gary have further become integral in Blue Waters evolution, bearing responsibility for the day to day operation of the hotel and championing the refurbishment and redevelopment of Blue Waters into the property it is today.
