Australia - The goat market

Goat prices decreased again this week, with the majority of contributors reducing rates by 10¢/kg cwt - largely reflective of an increase in supplies. Processors are also taking advantage of lower lamb and mutton rates, which is impacting competition. The quality of goats offered has been reportedly good, however, the high A$ continues to hinder export returns.
