BULLS sold to a top of $6750 to average $3544 at the annual Lilydale Invitational Charolais Sale today (August 18) at the Toogoolawah Showgrounds.
 



 
The sale topper was Bird Hill Flint (AI), a red factor son of Advance XR8 offered by Jim and Janice Spreadborough, Bird Hill Charolais Stud, Blenheim. Flint was bought by the Gilla Partnership, Blackbutt.



The 21 month old had an 132 eye muscle area (EMA), P8 of 9, Rib of 7 and 38cm scrotal circumference.
 
Gilla Partnership also bought Rod and Janelle Freeman's RNJ's Firestorm for $4250. (EMA 131, P8 8, Rib 6, SC 42cm).
 
Gilla also bought Brendan and Marnie's Scheiwe's Brendale Federation for $3750. (EMA 131, P8 7, Rib 5, SC 40cm).
 
The 38 bulls sold averaged $3544, the four cows and calves $1825, and the eight heifers $1262.50.
