Scotland - Beef cattle at Royal Highland Show

Scottish beef farmers will be urged to give universal support to the formal launch of the Scottish Beef Association at next week's Royal Highland Show.
The move follows weeks of talks between representatives from the Scottish Beef Cattle Association and National Beef Association Scotland, under the interim chairmanship of John Ross, current chairman of the Moredun Foundation.
The joining together of the two organisations – at the SBA stand opposite the cattle lines on the opening day of the show at 4pm – should finally bring to an end years of difficulties between the two bodies and hopefully herald a new beginning for the Scottish beef sector.
