HEWITT Cattle Co, Fork Lagoon, Emerald, has had an outstanding result at the Droughtmaster National sale in Rockhampton, after topping the sale with two bulls at $52,500 each.

The first bull of the draft, Fairhaven Executive 131 (S) was kicked off at $20,000 by under-bidders Ken Rutherford and family, Redskin Droughtmasters, Morinish.

After some competitive bidding, it was Sam and Jane Barton, Huntly Droughtmasters, Clermont, who secured the bull for the top price money.

Moments later the selling centre was full of action again, when Fairhaven Eclipse 113 (P) entered the ring.

Paul Lever, Leverdale Droughtmasters, Murray Upper, purchased the bull, outbidding Rondel Droughtmasters, Winton.
