Numbers declined at Dalby with a mixed quality penning of heavy steers and bullocks.
 
 
 
The C2 calves to restockers varied from 197¢ to 228¢ while light yearling steers to feed eased 4¢ on 219¢/kg.
 
Heavy weight C3’s to feed lifted 5¢ to make 200¢ while the light C2 yearling heifer portion averaged 192¢ back 5¢/kg.
 
Medium C3 grown steers were unchanged on 172¢ while the majority of cows were D2’s which remained steady on 126¢/kg.

Casino recorded an increase in yardings with good lines of supplementary cattle offered.
 
Medium vealer steers to slaughter remained steady on 210¢ while the vealer heifer portion topped at 215¢ to make 211¢/kg.
 
The C4 bullocks varied from 155¢ to 171¢ while Medium D2 cows lifted 2¢ to average 125¢/kg.

Warrnambool’s throughput remained steady with a plainer yarding than last week.
 
Medium weight D2 vealer steers to restock settled on 227¢ while heavy C2 vealer heifers averaged 205¢/kg.
 
Heavy grown steers lifted 3¢ to make 195¢ while light D3 grown heifers were unchanged on 167¢/kg. Medium D3 beef cows topped at 155¢ to make 146¢ while the dairy portion settled on 139¢/kg.

At the conclusion of Wednesday’s market the Eastern Young Cattle Indicator (EYCI) was back 1¢ to 381¢/kg cwt.
 
The trade steer indicator was the only indicator to lose ground back 1¢ on 212¢ while medium steers lifted 2¢ on 184¢/kg lwt.
 
Heavy steers and medium cows were unchanged on 188¢ and 137¢/kg lwt respectively.
 
The feeder steer indicator finished on 206¢/kg lwt.              

Consignments declined slightly at CTLX and quality was winter affected.
 
Young 3 score lambs to slaughter were 38¢ lower on 483¢/kg cwt. Light 2 score lambs to processors were 8¢ cheaper on 342¢/kg cwt.
 
Trade 3 score lambs to slaughter were 18¢ lower on 370¢, while heavy 4 score lambs decreased 26¢ to 362¢/kg cwt. Light 2 score Merino ewes were 39¢ cheaper on 224¢/kg cwt.

Supply lifted at Hamilton and quality was plain. Light 2 score lambs to slaughter were 11¢ higher on 375¢/kg cwt.
 
Trade 3 score lambs to processors were 14¢ cheaper on 394¢, while heavy 4 score lambs were 12¢ dearer on 390¢/kg cwt.
 
Light 2 score Merino ewes were 39¢ lower on 168¢, while medium weight 2 score Merino ewes settled around 249¢/kg cwt.

At the conclusion on Wednesday’s markets the eastern states restocker lamb indicator was 1¢ higher on 372¢/kg cwt. Merino lambs were unchanged on 344¢, while light lambs were 1¢ lower on 372¢/kg cwt.
 
Trade lambs decreased 1¢ to 422¢, while heavy lambs eased 1¢ to 399¢/kg cwt. The mutton indicator finished 9¢ lower on 239¢/kg cwt.
