Russia - US beef rejected

The Rosselkhoznadzor imposes temporary restrictions on import of products from the following establishments from September 12, 2012 due to detection under intensified laboratory control of Listeria in the consignment of frozen boneless pork from the USA (Establishment No. 244 W (Tyson Fresh Meats), tetracycline and chlortetracycline in pork consignment from the USA (Establishment No. 31965 (TriumphFoods), coliform bacteria in the consignment of frozen cooked mussel meat from Chili (Establishment No. 10754 (BLUESHELL S.A.).
 
 

Besides due to the first detection of high levels of the following substances: mercury in the consignment of fish products (frozen butterfish filet) from China (Establishment No. 3500/02154 (ZhangzhouHsien-pin Frozen Foods Co., Ltd.); nitrofurans (AMOZ, AOZ) in the consignment of frozen tilapia filet from China (Establishment No. 4600/02043 (Hainan Zhongyu Seafood Co. Ltd.); arsenic in the consignment of sea products (frozen cooked shelled shrimps) from Danemark (Establishment No. GL219 (M/TRMarkus, Qajaq Trawl A/S); tetracycline and chlortetracycline in the consignment of pork products (tails) from Austria (Establishment No. AT K 1 EG; AT 20259 EG (StürzenbecherVieh-, Pferde-, Fleischhandels GmbH); tetracycline and chlortetracycline in the consignment of frozen pork from Canada (Establishment No.10 (AgromexInc.); coliform bacteria in the consignment of frozen tilapia filet from Chine (Establishment No. 4600/02059 (HainanQinfu Foods Co., Ltd.) and in the consignment of frozen boneless beef from Paraguay (Establishment No. 38 (FRIGORIFICO CONCEPCION S.A.) the intensified laboratory control for safety criteria is introduced in relation to the products from these establishments.
