Wednesday, September 12, 2012, the entire estate of Wurst & Mehr Fleisch-und Wurstspezialitäten was auctioned.
The auction was a great success. More than 1750 lots were auctioned. Almost all machines are being transferred to a new owner. The packaging materials, trolleys, smoke trolleys, sausagelines, all changed hands. The workshop and office inventory is sold to a large extent. The buyers are companies from around the world. Lots were sold to people from Egypt, Latvia, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Canada, Bulgaria, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Peru, Australia, Russia, etc.
The next auction, on September 19 2012, is the estate of a producer of, tapenades, pesto, sauces, and olives.
Beginning October there are two large auctions divided over three locations of a huge vegetable processing factory in Holland and Spain.
