Halal boss Mr Khawaja is just a Lacky to the highest bidder it would appear, most certainly he is dragging the name of Halal into the gutter, rather than raising it up to where it belongs, somthing we should all be proud of.
Many of our readers believe Khawaja should be in the Dock in atonement and not sat up on the Bench in judgement and he has to go before doing anymore damage to our industry.

Mr Khawaja, whose organisation approves most halal suppliers in Britain, said: “Everyone has the right to choose and should be given the right information.”
Muslims are forbidden to consume blood. If an animal is stunned before slaughter, not all its blood will drain away.

Former newspaper editor and Downing Street spin doctor Andy Coulson faced court for the first time on phone-hacking charges yesterday.
He and six other figures connected with the News of the World appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court accused of plotting to hack the voicemails of up to 600 people.
