At the closing ceremony of this years’ IPVS in Jeju Island, South Korea, veterinarians voted in favour of Dublin with 53% of the votes.
Beijing came second with 29% and Rio de Janeiro got 17% of the votes. A majority of 50% or higher was needed.
The event will be held in Dublin from 8-11 June, 2016. Prior to that, the 2014 edition will be held in Cancún, Mexico.
