Young lamb supply held firm at Horsham this week, with over 12,000 new season lambs yarded.
Light weight and light trade lambs dominated the yarding, with processors securing the majority.
Quality remains mixed with the supply area still in need of rain to promote further spring pasture growth.
Restockers were active on light lambs under 18kg cwt paying from $59 to $76/head. Young light weight 1 and 2 score lambs to processors made from $57 to $79/head.
Light trade 2 and 3 score lambs made from $77 to $90/head.
Trade weight 3 score lambs made from $84 to $99/head and ranged from 350¢ to 400¢/kg cwt.
Heavy 3 to 5 score lambs made from $84 to $115/head and ranged from 365¢ to 410¢/kg cwt.
