USA - Death of a vintage poultry man

Thomas Weston Hodge, a pioneer in the early development of the North Georgia poultry industry, died Oct. 6. He was 86.
For 25 years, Hodge was president of Hodge & Murphy Poultry Company.
In other business ventures he was President of Mulberry Farms and Braselton Packing Company, Manager of the Georgia Poultry Exchange and General Manager of Miller Poultry Company, according to a published obituary.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Frances Powell Hodge, and his three children and their spouses. He was a resident of Gainesville, Ga.
