A result from the alliance between the Brazilian Minerva Group and the Irish Dawn Farms, Minerva Dawn Farms created a new concept of ingredient and processed protein industry in Brazil.

Minerva Group
- One of the leaders in South America on the production and commercialization of beef, leather and live cattle exports and their derivatives. It is among the top three exporters in the sector in terms of gross sales. The headquartered is located in Barretos - State of Sao Paulo - the Minerva Group has 11 plants, where two are international sites, generating more than 9.600 direct employees and have a daily slaughter capacity of 10.480 cattle and 2.040 tonnes of beef deboning capacity, equivalent to approximately 12.910 heads. The competence, seriousness and professionalism earned to Minerva Group the approval of its units to export to the world's most demanding markets, like the United States and the European Union. Thus, the Minerva quality reaches more than 100 countries, in a complete products line recognized for their high quality standard.
Dawn Farms
- Founded in 1984, Dawn Foods is located in Ireland, and is part of the Queally Group, that country’s largest privately owned agricultural food group. Dawn Farms operates 4 factories, in Ireland and Great Britain, producing ingredients of individually quickly frozen meat. Leader in Europe, the company is capable of producing a large diversity of products derived from beef, pork, poultry and lamb meat. Dawn Farms also produces a variety of fermented and dried products, including pepperoni, salami and chorizo. The products are customized to attend the individual needs of the clients in the sectors such as food production, food services, pizzerias and fast-food in more than 40 countries in the world.
In 2008, Dawn Farms Foods opened its new Science and Meat Innovation Centre, in Ireland, with the objective of developing new products to meet our customers differentiated needs and to maintain its leadership position in meat cooking innovation and technology.
