Japanese meat processing and food company Iotham saw a slight dip in sales this year down to ¥447.399 billion for the year ending 31 March 2102 compared to ¥455.989 billion last year.
Sales in the sausage and ham division rose slightly, from ¥122.53 billion to ¥123.161 billion.
However, sales in the fresh meat division fell by nearly ¥4 billion and sales in the processed foods division fell by about ¥5.5 billion.
Despite the drop in sales operating income rose from ¥2.481 to ¥2.88 billion over the year.
Pre-tax income turned from a loss of ¥1.886 billion in 2011 to a profit of ¥2.559 billion this year.
Following deductions, net income was ¥2.06 billion.
The company has been showing a steady growth in income since the dramatic losses it incurred in 2009.
