OFFICERS from the Charleville Stock Squad are investigating the theft of 860 head of cattle from two properties south of Tambo during April and May this year.
The cattle have an estimated value of about $1 million.
It is believed the cattle were stolen between April 22 and May 22 from Yandarlo and Southhampton Downs, south of Tambo.
A $100,000 reward has been offered.
The majority of the stolen cattle are red Droughtmaster Brahman cross bullocks that are all identifiable by their brand and earmark.
Extensive inquiries in the local area have failed to locate the missing cattle, which are owned by grazier Scott Harris.
