UK - ANSA welcomes Paterson Defra appointment

The Association of Non Stun Abattoirs welcome the appointment of Owen Paterson, MP for North Shropshire, to the role of Secretary of State for Defra.
Mohammed Saleem Policy/Communication Director (ANSA) “This is a great appointment for the countryside and the farming community, I believe that Mr Paterson has a real understanding of the issues facing the countryside, farming and rural people and will be an asset to Defra.
We look forward to working closely with Mr Paterson and his team.”
ANSA endeavors to arrange an early meeting with Owen Peterson MP regarding the religious rites for Jewish and the and the Muslim Community which was previously denied by the previous minister.
