in 2007 regarding the Boycott of Halal when I urged the Muslim community to stand up to these Bullies, the biggest problem to the Halal industry here in the UK is Halal Food Authority (HFA) and their president Masood Khawaja who is Achilles heal, he has always sized on the side of the government to support stun industries,
All the main non Muslim owned slaughterhouse who are slaughtering so called halal are stunning and machine slaughtering are endorsed by HFA, which account for over 70 % of the halal slaughter in the UK, machine slaughter which has be outlawed by Islamic Muslim scholar last month has had very little effect, with HFA who on the side of the government and claim to be regulators according to their halal cert has caused the problem.
Getting the Muslim community to stand up to these Bullies is the biggest problem here in the UK because of

Halal Food Authority’s President Masood Khawja believes that science and technology is more important in the Halal industry than religion, so the question must be asked who does he pray to ? with over 40 top Islamic scholar sitting in Muslim Arbitration Tribunal (MAT) in Coventry outlawing machine slaughter for halal slaughtering is been ignored by the British government because of HFA have said science and technology is more important.
With the new regulation 1099 due to come in force in 2013 and with HFA on the side of the government have made it impossible for non stun, whereas the method the Muslim and the Jewish community are lobbing for to be accept is totally been ignored, only last week a Muslim slaughterhouse in Skegness is experiencing difficulties from campaigners as HFA are on the side campaigners, The Halal Food Authority’s President has also made assurance to the campaigners that animal welfare is among the three core principals central to halal slaughtering practises, their by supporting
the stunning method that this slaughterhouse should adopt this method.
So as a Muslim I am begging you Mr Hayes we need the support of the Meat Trade Daily News to stand up to HFA and the British media, please do not abandon us know, I to felt dejected in 2007 and still do, but the cause is greater for the Muslim and the Jewish community then my self satisfaction.
