They say fact is sometimes stranger than fiction and this story runs something like this…. Britain's biggest newspaper (The Sun) paid for a self-proclaimed spy who went about planting stories on a well-known and well-respected Muslim forum, claiming he was from Al-Qaeeda. At this point, the Sun's secret 'terror expert/ super spy' amazing find was used to run a hate story about Muslims on its front page.
The plot thickened as Secretary of State for the Home Department, Mercer was also using this super spy to brief him on Muslim issues. That’s right, the same Mercer who claimed that the Labour Party didn't know which Muslim extremists they were dealing with, after The Mail twisted a story where Inayat Bunglawala stabbed an intruder who was kicking his door down and trying to break into his house, where his wife and 3 year old daughter lived.
That's right - Mercer is now calling Muslims who protect their family, 'Muslim extremists' and that the Government should not be dealing with them.
The best bit is how the plucky Ummah Forum volunteer and a non-Muslim blogger started to snoop around themselves and between them exposed the whole thing as a SCAM! (who says a few good men can’t do anything against big corporations!)
The non-Muslim freedom fighter and friend of the Muslims Tim Ireland at bloggerheads.com has even secretly obtained tapes of the super spy blabbering his mouth off and has said he has lots more that he will reveal in time.
