MEDIA and martketing news website Mumbrella reports that MLA has given Sam Neill the chop.
Nice bloke and a good actor but f-ck all to do with buying beef and he is a Kiwi for Christs sake.
Actor Neill, best known for his work in Jurassic Park has fronted the red meat campaign since 2005.
MLA group marketing director Andrew Cox
told Mumbrella: “Sam only wanted to appear on TV. Which meant we couldn’t take the campaign into other media.
Just doing TV worked fine in 2005. But seven years is a long time in media. And we need to be able to execute our nutrition campaign at a grass routes level using other channels.”
