N Ireland - British Blues Moira Bound

21 Bulls and seven females are entered for the Danske Bank sponsored Autumn Show and Sale of British Blue Cattle in Moira Arena on Sat, Nov 3.



This British Blue Cattle Society export status event has attracted entries from the cream of Northern Ireland breeders, who sell their stock as far afield as the West Country, Cumbria and Munster

The ultimate terminal beef breed for adding value to calves born to beef and dairy cows alike the British Blue is a firm favourite with farming families, who want docile stock. Bulls and crossbred progeny that are simpler and safer to work with in an era when many are working single handed with stock.

Conducted under National Beef Association bull and female breeding warranty conditions the auction starts at 1pm following judging from 10.30am by Gail Ellis of Cornwall.

To attend exit the Ulster M1 at junction 9, sign posted Moira and International Airport, onto the roundabout to take the A3 towards Lisburn before turning right into Meadow Road. Moira Arena at Trummery is then located on the right beside several other businesses
