Australia - Contract cattle kill Wingham abattoir has service for cattle producers

Wingham Beef Exports is set to provide another valuable addition to its services offered to the areas cattle producers. Local farmers who wish to have their cattle processed for delivery direct to their nominated butcher can now access this service through Wingham.
This fee-for-service will give cattle producers – small or large – greater flexibility by arranging their own processing to Australian food safety standards; and importantly, it will add value to a producer’s finished cattle. The service makes good sense for those who are looking for convenience and greater involvement in beef production processes - from the farm gate to the table. By offering this service locally to our beef producers less stress and travel time is placed on the animals.
General Manager, Grant Coleman, says the move to offer fee-for-service processing will be “welcomed by many local producers. We are well placed to deliver competitive and affordable, quality processing which adds to the facility’s services we currently offer.”
