Vietnam - Increase in meat production

The livestock sector targets growth of 8 percent this year, with total output of livestock meat reaching 4.1 million tonnes, according to the Department of Livestock Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
The sector will focus on setting up breeding areas under the model of industrial farms. These areas will have animal feed processors and waste treatment facilities.
