USA - Deop in poultry production

US broiler meat production estimates for third-quarter 2012 has been reduced by 22.68 million kg to 4.22 billion kg, a drop in 3% from last year.
Turkey meat production in July 2012 was 225.4 million kg, 11% higher than in July 2011.
Compared to last year, broiler shipments fell this year by 7%, while turkey shipments increased by 25%, to 29.71 million kg.
