The timing of vaccination procedures for several states will be altered, extending deadlines to June 30, the government announced yesterday.
Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe and Alagoas, and the municipalities of Minas Gerais and Pernambuco are to see revisions in their vaccination periods due to a lack of rain.
"The alterations of dates in these locations is justified by the lack of rain, which has compromised the water supply and even feeding of livestock," explains the director of the Department of Animal Health, Guilherme Marques.
Dates for the rest of the country remain unchanged.
