  A top official in Sri Lanka is urging the country to make better use of its existing dairy cow stocks, which are proven to be lower yielding than foreign animals, instead of turning to imports.

 

 

 

Sri Lankan livestock ministry secretary H A Gamage is reported to have said that there are opportunities to improve the yield of dairy cows, without having to rely on foreign produce.
