Australia - 7,000 store cattle on offer at Roma

Good numbers of cattle flowed into today's Roma Store Sale. A total of 7100 head of mixed quality cattle were penned.
 
 
 
Large numbers of buyers were present, including good numbers of local cattle producers, and domestic feeder weight steers improved in price. 
 
In some early sales, the Cook family, Whyenbirra, Bollon, sold 342kg Simmental-cross steers to 220c or $753/head. 

Margaret Neill, Newstead Pastoral Co, Surat, sold 277kg Angus-cross steers to 223c/$618. 

Ruben Clunes, Lorraine Station, Roma, sold Droughtmaster-cross steers to 224c. 

The Loughnan family, Alicker, Roma, sold 280kg Charolais-cross steers to 219c/$614. 

Gary Lee, Scotsburn, Mitchell, sold 234kg Limousin-cross steers to 218c/$511. 

The Thorne family, Holmleigh, Mitchell, sold 207kg Santa-cross steers to 210c/$435.
