Australia - 4,800 cattle yarded at Roma

Good numbers of restocker buyers have turned out to see the 4800 head of cattle penned at Roma’s store sale yesterday. 
 
 

 
Export weight feeder steers increased in price with more competition displayed between feedlot buyers. 


In some early sales, the Gobbert family, Amboola, Mitchell, sold 235kg Droughtmaster-cross steers to 220c/kg and averaged 212c to return $500/head. 


Margarita Kehl, Hillview, Wallumbilla, sold 285kg Charolais-cross steers to 218c/$623. 


Lyndon Caves Pastoral Co, Roma, sold 417kg Angus-cross steers to make 196c/$818. 


The Timmins family, Kerry, Mitchell, sold 461kg Santa steers for 195c/$900. 


Lyn Joliffe, Heather Downs, Mitchell, sold 371kg Hereford steers to return 184c/$685.
