CRICKETER Shane Warne has weighed into Derryn Hinch's controversial sacking in spectacular style, congratulating station 3AW for failing to renew the radio veteran's contract.
“Well done 3AW on sacking Hinch, I used to think he was entertaining & clever, but in recent times he has just spoken rubbish & lost the plot,” Warne tweeted.
Hinch has previously been critical of Shane Warne and his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley, describing him on radio as not "terribly intelligent".
It came as broadcaster Derryn Hinch said his replacement at radio station 3AW knew weeks ago he would be taking over from the radio veteran.
