The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) has confirmed another outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) amongst pigs in China.
A group of feeder pigs were being transported from Taiwan to the Penghu islands when vesicular lesions were found on some of the animals.
Subsequent tests confirmed the presence of the FMD virus.
All of the pigs have now been slaughtered and further testing is being carried out on samples taken from the animals.
