USA - Meat worker killed in poulty plant

A worker at a Pilgrim’s Pride Inc. poultry plant was killed in an accident on Oct. 23, according to local news reports.
Sheriff’s deputies were called to the plant around 2 p.m. Christopher Chin, 37, of Canton, Ga., was pronounced dead at the scene after he apparently was crushed between two pieces of equipment, according to news reports.
Lt. Jay Baker of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s office said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration was contacted and will be investigating the incident.
